A view counts when a viewer watches 5 or more seconds. ByteDisk pays you $2.50 for every 1,000 qualifying views.

How view counting works
5-second minimum
Viewers must watch at least 5 seconds for the view to count. This filters out accidental link opens and bots.
IP rate limiting
The same IP address can't generate unlimited counted views. This prevents artificial inflation of view counts.
Device fingerprinting
Pseudonymous device fingerprints help identify and block coordinated fake view attempts without tracking personal identity.

How does ByteDisk count views?
A view counts when: (1) the viewer watches at least 5 seconds, (2) the IP address hasn't already generated a counted view within the rate-limit window, and (3) the traffic doesn't exhibit bot-like behavior patterns.
What's the difference between raw views and counted views?
Raw views = every time someone opens your video link. Counted views = views that meet the qualifying criteria (5s+ watch time, non-duplicate IP, no bot signals). Your earnings are based on counted views.
When do my earnings update?
